National Demand Forecast (NDF)

This group of pages contains functions to view national demand forecast values. The National Demand Forecast is made by the System Operator. The System Operator National Demand Forecast is based on historically metered generation output for Great Britain. This value INCLUDES transmission losses, but EXCLUDES Interconnector flows and demand from station transformers and pumped storage units. The National Demand Forecast is comparable with the Initial National Demand Out-Turn INDO. All the forecasts are unrestricted, i.e. any notified customer demand management is included in the history.

The Latest page allows the user to view the latest national demand forecast data.

The History page allows the user to view a history of national demand forecast data. This view only shows a record of each time the published value changed, i.e. duplicates are omitted.

The Download Latest page allows the user to download a file containing the latest national demand forecast data for a date range.

The Download History page allows the user to download a file containing the full history of national demand forecast data for a date range.
