This page is the root page for the part of the site used to view data. Much of the data available is hidden from view and is only accessible if you have signed a licence agreement.

The BM Unit Info page is used to access information that details characteristics about BM Units. This data can be used to give detailed information on changes in BM Units within the electricity system. For instance selecting 'By Fuel Type' and 'WIND' will give not only a list of BM Unit wind farms in the market, but can also show the growth in capacity at these farms over time since 2005.

The Raw Settlement Files page is used to download settlement files for a file type and settlement date. Settlement data is a full account of all system commercial activity that has occurred in the market.

The Settlement Data pages contain settlement data files arranged by file type. Settlement data is a full account of all system commercial activity that has occurred in the market.

The Summary Data pages contain market data beyond that covered in the BMRS data section. This includes bm unit level data, such as generation data, and aggregates for generation by fuel or power station type among other data streams..

The BMRS Data pages show data from the blancing mechanism reporting service. This covers demand, balancing mechanism parameters, forecasts, frequency, fuel mix and other system data streams.

The Gas Data pages can be used to download data from National Grid for gas data.
