Initial National Demand Out-Turn (INDO)
This group of pages contains functions to view initial demand outturn values. The Initial National Demand Out-Turn is the average megawatt value of demand for a Settlement
Period INCLUDING transmission losses but EXCLUDING station transformer load, pumped storage demand and interconnector demand. The INDO is made available by the System Operator within
15 minutes after a Settlement Period, based on their operational metering. The composition of the Initial National Demand Out-Turn matches that of the National Demand Forecast
and so INDO and NDF are comparable.
The 'D/L Embedded' page also allows for the download or more detailed demand information such as levels of emebddeded demand, embedded solar and embedded wind. This gives a better breakdown of demand figures.
