This page provides access to gas pricing data series.

The SAP pages provide access to SAP gas prices. The SAP price is the average price for gas traded via the OCM (On-the-day Commodity Market) mechanism.

The SMIBP pages provide access to SMIBP gas prices. The SMIBP (System Marginal Incentive Buy Price) is the higher of either SAP (system average price) or the highest Market Offer price in relation to a Market Balancing Action taken that day.

The SMISP pages provide access to SMISP gas prices. The SMISP (System Marginal Incentive Sell Price) is the lower of either SAP (system average price) or the lowest Market Offer price in relation to a Market Balancing Action taken that day.

The SMP Buy Price pages provide access to SMP Buy Price data. The System Marginal (Buy) Price is the greater of SAP + 0.0287 p/kWh or the price in p/kWh which is equal to the highest Market Offer price in relation to a Market Balancing Action on the same day.

The SMP Sell Price pages provide access to SMP Sell Price data. The System Marginal (Sell) Price is the lesser of SAP - 0.0324p/kWh or the price in p/kWh which is equal to the lowest Market Offer price in relation to a Market Balancing Action on the same day.
